Anne Sullivan (Annie Sullivan ou Johanna Mansfield Sullivan Macy -1866-1936) foi a professora que educou e ensinou a Língua de Sinais para Helen A. Keller através do tato.
Helen A. Keller (com 19 meses de idade) ficou cega e surda (talvez, por causa, de escarlatina ou meningite) e aprendeu a “ouvir” (aos sete anos), colocando os dedos sobre a garganta, lábios e nariz de Sullivan, para que associasse vibrações e palavras. Helen desenvolveu seu tato a um patamar sofisticadíssimo, capaz de diferenciar as mais sutis vibrações sonoras. Helen tornou-se proficiente em Braille (foi aluna de Alexander Graham-Bell, o inventor do Telefone) e em Linguagem de Sinais, na palma da mão. ("Libras" significa "Língua Brasileira de Sinais"). Helen foi a primeira pessoa surdo-cega da História a conquistar um Bacharelado; tornou-se escritora, conferencista e ativista social e recebeu muitas e merecidas honrarias. Diplomou-se Doutora “Honoris Causa” ("por causa de Honra") nas Universidades de Temple e Harvard; Glasgow; Berlim; Nova Delhi; e Witwatersrand (Joanesburgo, África do Sul). O Filme "O Milagre de Anne Sullivan" deveria ter este título: "Fé, Esperança, Disciplina e Amor de Anne e Helen", porque ambas, com o milagre da Força divina, ultrapassaram muitos e grandes obstáculos.
Uma Senhora enferma tocou as vestes de Jesus Cristo e ficou curada (Mc 5:24-34). Quando toquei as vestes ensangüentadas e os lábios ressequidos de Cristo-Cordeiro, fui tocado pelas Suas mãos furadas: fiquei curado e vivificado; experimentei o milagre do Novo Nascimento Espiritual (Ef 2:1; João 3:3-16; 5:24; 10:28).

Anne Sullivan (Annie Sullivan or Johanna Mansfield Sullivan Macy -1866-1936) was the teacher who educated and taught the Sign Language for Helen A. Keller, through the touch.
Helen A. Keller (at 19 months of age) became blind and deaf (perhaps, because of scarlet fever or meningitis) and learned to "listen" (at 7 years old) by placing her fingers over Sullivan's throat, lips and nose, in order to associate vibrations and words. Helen developed his tact-touch to a very sophisticated level, capable of differentiating the most subtle sound vibrations. Helen became proficient in Braille (was a student of Alexander Graham-Bell, the inventor of the Telephone) and Sign Language, in the palm of her hand. ("Libras" means "Brazilian Sign Language"). Helen was the first deaf-blind person in History to earn a Bachelor's degree; she became a writer, lecturer and social activist and received many and deserved honors. She earned an Honorary Doctorate at Universities of Temple and Harvard; Glasgow; Berlin; New Delhi; and Witwatersrand (Johannesburg, South Africa). The film "The Miracle of Anne Sullivan" should have this title: "Faith, Hope, Discipline and Love of Anne and Helen", because Both, with the miracle of divine Strength, overcame many and great obstacles.
A sick Lady touched the garments of Jesus Christ and was healed (Mk 5:24-34). When I touched the bloody robes and parched lips of Christ-Lamb, I was touched by His pierced hands. I was healed and made alive; I experienced the miracle of the New Spiritual Birth (Eph 2:1; John 3:3-16; 5:24; 10:28).
